Magnoliaeflora Camellia has been chosen for its true pale pink flower. We have several hot pink, true pink, reddish pink flowering camellias but we have not had a true pale pink variety recently. This one is very pretty when blooms in spring and grows very similar to most japonicas, upright and tall. Whether you are looking to add to your collection, need shade privacy, or just want an accent plant, Magnoliaeflora is a great choice!

Be sure to use a well drained soil medium when planting Camellia as they prefer less watering than you might think. In clay soil we prefer planting with pine bark soil conditioner for Camellia, Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, Azalea.
