Joseph's Take
American Pillar is perfect for smaller back yards that need privacy as the tree grows to be around 25 feet tall but only 4 feet wide. In contrast, Green Giant Arborvitae gets around 12 foot wide at the base.

American Pillar is the perfect screening plant as it grows very quickly and narrow but still fills in as an actual screen. It's ultimate height is around 25 feet which perfectly not too tall. They are also not prone to bag worm and can grow in many planting zones throughout the country.
