Rhododendron 'Hilda Niblett'

The 'Hilda Niblett' azalea is a beautiful, award winning evergreen with year round bright green foliage. This showy, compact azalea produces beautiful flowers of a unique pink and white color, that also bear shades of red. It will thrive beneath a shade tree in even less than perfect soil for a beautiful spring explosion of color.

Joseph's Take

Hilda Niblett is dwarf and although is multi colored, would look nice surrounding itself with other dwarf azalea like Renee Michell or Conversation Piece. Think dwarf hedge surrounding a shady patio.

Be sure to use a well drained soil medium when planting any Azalea, Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, or Camellia as they all prefer fall planting with less watering than you might think. In NC our soil is clay so we prefer to use pine bark soil conditioner when planting these varities.
