Girard's Renee Michelle Azalea is a heavy bloomer perfect for impressive color displays in your mixed beds, courtyards or shady foundation plantings. Compact in size, it also adds needed color in partially shaded beds. Very deep pink, ruffled flowers have a dark pink spotted throat is loved by hummingbirds. Semi-evergreen nature makes for year round interest in this easy care plant.

Be sure to use a well drained soil medium when planting any Azalea, Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, or Camellia as they all prefer fall planting with less watering than you might think. In NC our soil is clay so we prefer to use pine bark soil conditioner when planting these varieties.
