Be sure to use a well drained soil medium when planting any Azalea, Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, or Camellia as they all prefer fall planting with less watering than you might think. In NC our soil is clay so we prefer to use pine bark soil conditioner when planting these varities.

The Conversation Piece Azalea is striking with pink and white blooms that make this shrub unique. Sometimes it blooms pink, Sometimes it blooms white and pink, and sometimes it blooms mostly white or mostly pink. Its flowers can change from year to year. Re-blooming spring and again in fall, the Conversation Piece Azalea lends to its name with blooms up to 4 inches in diameter. Bright evergreen leaves keep interest throughout the year. Its compact nature makes this plant an excellent choice for containers or in mass plantings. Easy to care for, the Conversation Piece Azalea will withstand cold snaps and resist deer.
