Rhododendron ‘Roblem’ PP15043

These bicolor white and speckled-to-streaked pink blooms are an easy choice for a touch of fanciful color to your yard with these reblooming azaleas from the Encore series. Evergreen foliage adds year-round interest, making these a great choice for a low hedge next to heavily traveled paths, as a specimen piece, or even mixed in with other azaleas for some unique graduated color.

Joseph's Take

Joseph's Take

All Encores have many uses in the landscape, mainly because they are proficient bloomers and we all love color!  When I'm choosing an Encore for a landscape, I usually choose one that will look nice next its surrounding plants as well as any architectural structures that may come into play.  All Encore Azaleas have beautiful flowers, I have always loved the purple varieties.

Be sure to use a well drained soil medium when planting any Azalea, Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, or Camellia as they all prefer fall planting with less watering than you might think. In NC our soil is clay so we prefer to use pine bark soil conditioner when planting these varieties.
