The weigela is a shrub from Asia underused in today's gardens. Many people--even in the business--aren't even sure how to pronounce the name! But that will change with the Sonic Bloom® Proven Winners series of weigela (say it like, why-gee-la). The Sonic Bloom® Weigela series comes in three colors: white, pink, and red. This one is--you guessed it--white. However, as the blooms age, they fade to pink, creating a lovely, layered multi-color show. Sonic Bloom® Pearl Weigela is deer resistant and attracts butterflies. Its arching, loose growth habit looks lovely in a cottage garden.
