Camellia sasanqua 'Green S99-016' PP24887

An upright grower, a double bloomer peony type Camellia. Our new favorite from the October magic Series. Its upright growth habit is in contrast to it's cousin October Magic White Shi Shi. Enjoy both!

Be sure to use a well drained soil medium when planting any Camellia, Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, and Azalea as they all prefer fall planting with less watering than you might think. In NC our soil is clay so we prefer to use pine bark soil conditioner when planting these varieties.

Joseph's Take

Joseph's Take

April Melody is a moderate grower, flowers are a bit smaller than some but its color is amazing. It is another zone 6 Camellia so its more cold hardy in the northern states.
