Rhododendron 'Royal Robe'

The Robe Azalea offers an exciting show of elegant color and multi-season interest. Its compact form is great for mixed borders or as an accent plant in a shady spot. Bright, deep pink flowers appear in the spring among glossy, silver and dark green variegated foliage. The Robe Azalea is a hardy, compact and evergreen that provides season-long color due to it's white and green variegated leaves.

Be sure to use a well drained soil medium when planting any Azalea, Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, or Camellia as they all prefer fall planting with less watering than you might think. In NC our soil is clay so we prefer to use pine bark soil conditioner when planting these varities.
