Rhododendron 'Lemon Drop'

‘Lemon Drop’ is a Weston Hybrid deciduous azalea with mildew resistance and small leaves that turn from blue green in summer to reddish yellow in the fall. In the summer, the show starts with peach flower buds that open to soft yellow, which emit a light lemon scent. A moderate grower, reaching six feet tall in ten years.

Joseph's Take

What a special flower! Lemon Drop is pale yellow while Lemon Lights is a bit brighter. When they have fat buds in early spring, I know its time to get excited for warmer days ahead!
