Camellia X  'Snow Chan'

Camellia Snow Chan has numerous large, double, white flowers winter through spring; complemented by its year round lustrous, glossy, deep-green foliage. In peak bloom, the abundance of buds and flowers almost hide its foliage. Snow Chan and Professors Sargent Camellia look wonderful together.

Joseph's Take

I recently found Snow Chan Camellia along side Professor Sargent Camellia, it's new to me in 2019. I like both very much. Snow Chan has a large flower and is very fluffy. It's beautiful!

Be sure to use a well drained soil medium when planting any Camellia as they prefer fall planting with less watering than you might think. In NC our soil is clay so we prefer to use pine bark soil conditioner when planting Camellia, Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, and Azalea.
