Be sure to use a well drained soil medium when planting any Camellia as they prefer less watering than you might think. In NC our soil is clay so we prefer to use pine bark soil conditioner when planting Camellia, Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, and Azalea.
Snow Chan Camellia
Camellia X 'Snow Chan'
Camellia Snow Chan has numerous large, double, white flowers winter through spring; complemented by its year round lustrous, glossy, deep-green foliage. Late stage blooms will fully open to display it's beautiful yellow stamen. In peak bloom, the abundance of buds and flowers almost hide its foliage. Snow Chan and Professors Sargent Camellia look wonderful together.
