Japanses Maples are easy to grow in a sunny spot with space to spread out. A little dappled shade in the afternoon is a good idea in warmer states as the leaves can be stressed in the hottest months of the year.
Ribbon Leaf is an upright dwarf Japanese Maple with finger like leaves. It's spring flush starts out bright red and matures to a reddish green color by summer. Fall colors are orange and red. Ribbon Leaf is popular to grow in a container on the patio since is soft foliage is relaxing during a summers evening breeze. A perfect addition for any collector.
Our Japanese Maples are sold in 2 or 3 gallon pots. They are larger and more mature than a typical one gallon specimen. Since all Japanese Maples are generally slow growing, it is advised to choose a more mature plant when installing into your landscape. If you would like a current photo of any specimen, please send us an email.
