Camellia japonica 'Lemon Glow'

The Lemon Glow Camellia shows off its light cream, golden-yellow double flower bloom early spring and is cold hardy in zone 6. This variety of camellia reaches a mature height of 8-10 feet and a width of 6-8 feet. Lemon Glow grows very slowly and prefers well drained soil.

Be sure to use a well drained soil medium when planting any Camellia as they prefer less watering than you might think. In NC our soil is clay so we prefer to use pine bark soil conditioner when planting Camellia, Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, and Azalea.
