Hydrangea quercifolia 'Brenhill' USPP 25106; CBR 5304

Gatsby Gal Hydrangea grows to be slightly larger than Munchkin at around five feet at full height and width. It's flowers are numerous, large, and very sturdy. As the flowers age on the plant, they turn a deep red color and leaves will change to a beautiful dark red before winter. Gatsby gal is native to North America as most oakleaf hydrangeas are.

Joseph's Take

Joseph's Take

Munchkin and Ruby Slippers Hydrangeas are very similar, both are great dwarf Oakleaf varieties. Main difference is Munchkin flowers age to pinkish, Ruby Slippers flower ages to a reddish color. Both do well for me and are great shade bloomers and have amazing fall leaf color. They both like water while blooming.
