Dry woodland shade can be intimidating. Between the lack of water and various varmits, it seems almost impossible sometimes to find a plant to thrive in the area. Mr. Goldstrike Aucuba is here to help!
Considered one of the most beautiful of all aucubas, the striking golden leaves brighten any dark corner of your garden. This evergreen shrub is a slow grower, reaching 6 feet tall and 5 feet wide at maturity. Mr. Goldstrike's rounded habit makes it a great addition providing beautiful winter interest; uses include border, planters and containers, coastal exposure, woodland garden, house plant, specimen, screen, background, window boxes, accent, and mass plantings. This plant looks its best when sheltered by the sun, which burn the leaves.
