48 Hour Plant Replacement and 90 Day Warranty Policy

In the rare event that your product arrives with damage, you must, within 48 hours of receipt of the product, send us pictures of the damaged product(s) for our claims team to review. If the damage occurred during the shipping of the product, we will file a claim and replace your product at no additional cost once the claim has been approved by the carrier. In some cases, we may require customer to file the claim. Because living plants require special care and are perishable, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on any plant material. We do not accept claims for plants that have been planted or removed from the pot that they arrived in. Under no circumstances do we accept claims for plants where information about photographic transit damage has not been provided to us within the 48 hour period. Any claim that is filed by us is at the discretion of Lots of Plants. We cannot guarantee that a claim will be filed or approved.

 

For any product that is not a living plant, we will accept returns given prior approval and communication through our email system. Any returned non plant product must be shipped in its original shipping container. If a product arrives opened, damaged, or tampered with in any way, we will not refund your purchase. Any refunds given will incur a shipping cost reduction. We will not refund shipping cost to you or when returning back to us, an additional restocking fee of 20% will also be assessed which covers our internal efforts in sending product to you. If a return is requested, we will provide proof of shipping cost to you and proof of shipping cost to us. Shipping fees to you, shipping fees returning back to us, and 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your return balance and once products have been returned in satisfactory condition.

 

Notwithstanding the terms described above, for ten percent (10%) of the cost of the product, Lots of Plants will offer a ninety (90) Day Extended Warranty for your plant, which covers the cost of the plant, including any applicable tax, but does not include shipping. The Extended Warranty must be purchased with the product at the time of the initial purchase for warranty to be valid. If you purchase the 90 Day Extended Warranty, we will replace your plant, if it dies within 90 days from the time of delivery for any reason other than customer negligence.   



To make an Extended Warranty claim, you must, within 90 days of receipt of the plant, send us pictures of the dead product(s) for our claims team to review. Upon verification of a covered claim, we will either replace the plant or offer the product’s cost as store credit towards a different plant of the your choosing. Any plants provided as replacements are not covered by any warranty. Please note that any plant that is not planted in native soil at the time of receipt will not be covered under any warranty purchased or otherwise. Our plants need native soil, they must be planted in native soil in order to have their best chance of survival. Plants left in existing containers or planted in above ground planters are not covered under any warranty offered.
