White Chiffon® Hibiscus 'Rose of Sharon'
Hibiscus syriacus 'Notwoodone' USPP 12,612
One reviewer describes the blooms of the ‘White Chiffon’ Hibiscus as “lovely blossoms like Vera Wang wedding gowns. Enchanting!” We love this hibiscus too, especially with its fluffy white flowers that seem to glow under the summer moonlight. Plan for this sun-loving shrub to have some room, as it can reach heights of 12 feet and widths of 8 feet! Imagine something of that size in full bloom! Consider surrounding ‘White Chiffon’ Hibiscus with drifts of evergreen shrubs such as ‘Autumn Twist’ Encore Azalea or ‘Cerise Charm’ Loropetalum for a colorful series of bloom. Dark green deciduous foliage. Sets little to no seed, so easy to maintain. An excellent plant for the mixed border or used as a specimen plant.
