Buxus microphylla 'Golden Triumph'

The Golden Triumph Boxwood is a very sturdy, low-growing evergreen with tiny leaves that emerge with a golden hue and transition into a rich forest green with yellow margins. This boxwood remains compact and reaches a mature height of 2 to 3 feet and a mature width of 3 to 4 feet. Taking pruning well, uses include container, border, mass planting, topiary, urban garden, hedge, or create a unique pattern or framework in a formal garden. Provides great contrast against green foliage plants.

Golden Triumph Boxwood prefers a little more sun exposure than Golden Dream Boxwood, many plants that have varigated yellow and green leaves prefer sunlight in order to maintain their yellow varigation. Too much shade will turn these beauties into fully green plants, Abelia, Sunshine Ligustrum, and Gold Mop Cypress are examples.
