Distylium, nicknamed “evergreen witch hazel”, is native to China and Japan. This particularly hardy hybrid proves its worth by maintaining its sprightly composure through the roughest climates and soil conditions featuring dense spreading deep blue-green leaves horizontally arranged on cascading branches. Due to its low growing and spreading habit, Swing Low Distylium creates the perfect low growing foundation plant or hillside groundcover in both sun and shade.
