Friday Feature Plant: Munchkin Hydrangea

The Munchkin Hydrangea is a beloved addition to this flowering group with its many flowers and sturdy growth habit. Growing quickly to approximately 3 feet in height, even after heavy rains, the profuse flowers will hold strong. Abundant 6.5" blooms are held upright above the foliage, opening white in early summer and gradually turning to medium pink. The Munchkin Hydrangea has oak leaf shaped dark green foliage turns a striking red in the fall.

Use the Munchkin Hydrangea as a specimen or accent for foundations or other locations near homes or patios. Group or mass in shrub borders or in open woodland areas.
