Multicote™ 6- 18-6-12 + Micronutrients

Fertilizer is food for plants! Long term maintenance of any shrub or tree requires fertilizer from time to time. For the best results apply fertilizer on the top of the soil or mulch in fall or early spring. Multicote 6 is a slow-release fertilizer that contains all important micronutrients and will release nutrients for up to 6 months. At Lots of Plants we use Multicote™ 6 exclusively and throughout our growing process and in our plants that are planted in the landscape.

It can be applied twice annually in spring and fall by spreading the fertilizer in a circular fashion around the tap line of the plant. For best practice, do not apply fertilizer very close to the trunk. A newly planted 3 gallon plant will prefer one handful of fertilizer or approximately 2 ounces. For larger gallon plants or mature plants planted in the ground, application rates should increase proportionally. Spec data is below.
