Friday Feature Plant: Autumn Bonfire™ Encore® Azalea

A new addition to the Encore® azalea family, Autumn Bonfire™ is fast-growing dwarf azalea with red blooms in the spring and fall. The numerous, true red, semi-double and single blooms set it apart from the close attributes of the Autumn Fire™. Where Autumn Fire™ shows off its spring blooms early in the season, the Autumn Bonfire™ waits to product 2.5" flowers in the mid spring. The Autumn Bonfire™ is also slightly larger with a mature height of 3 feet and width of 3.5 feet. This shrub holds its bright green foliage year-round.

Autumn Bonfire™ is an excellent specimen on its own, or in mass plantings, showing off a field of bright red blooms. Mixed borders and containers are also good uses for this fiery addition. Check out our selection of azaleas in our store to see which one may catch your eye.
