Blue Chiffon® Hibiscus 'Rose of Sharon'
Hibiscus syriacus 'Notwoodthree' USPP 20,574
This heavy blooming variety of Rose of Sharon produces semi-double blue flowers from late spring to frost. The Blue Chiffon® grows to a height of 8 to 12 feet, but can be pruned back mildly to increase blooms. A hardy plant, tolerating heat and humidity, also adds interest by attracting hummingbirds and butterflies while deterring deer.
Please note that we offer Blue Chiffon in a starter quart pot, 3 gallon pot, or 7 gallon pot. Starter quart plants are not suitable to be planted directly in native soil. They require additional growth in a planter in order to be strong enough to survive planting in native soil. Please consider growing your starter plants in the same soil conditioner that we grow our plants with, it's available on the cart page.
