Munchkin Hydrangea – 3 gallon container

The Munchkin Hydrangea is a beloved addition to this flowering group with its many flowers and sturdy growth habit. Growing quickly to approximately 3 feet in height, even after heavy rains, the profuse flowers will hold strong. Abundant 6.5″ blooms are held upright above the foliage, opening white in early summer and gradually turning to medium pink. The Munchkin Hydrangea has oak leaf shaped dark green foliage turns a striking red in the fall.

Joseph’s take: Munchkin and Ruby Slippers Hydrangeas are very similar, both are great dwarf Oakleaf varieties.  Main difference is Munchkin has a more pinkish flower, Ruby Slipper has a reddish flower.  Both do well for me and are great shade bloomers.  They both like water when blooming.
