Camellia Japonica 'In the Pink'

In the Pink Camellia has rose pink double, formal blooms which means there are rows of overlapping petals and no gold reproductive structures visible in the center are rose-pink. Blooms appear late in the season, winter through spring accompanied by its year round lustrous, glossy, deep-green foliage. This evergreen reaches a mature height and width of 10 to 15 feet and grows faster than others.

Be sure to use a well drained soil medium when planting any Camellia as they prefer less watering than you might think. In NC our soil is clay so we prefer to use pine bark soil conditioner when planting Camellia, Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, and Azalea.
