Camellia Sasanqua 'Elaine Lee'

Elaine Lee Camellia starts showing it's hardy white, semi-double bloom in fall just as your gardens and landscape start to quiet down. Averaging a mature height of 5-6 feet and a width of 3 feet it keeps its beautiful semi-gloss evergreen leaves through the cold months of the year. This variety is a perfect addition to your yard when the chill in the air has set in and you're looking out a window in the warmth of your home.

Be sure to use a well drained soil medium when planting any Camellia as they prefer less watering than you might think. In NC our soil is clay so we prefer to use pine bark soil conditioner when planting Camellia, Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, and Azalea.
