Double Take™ Orange Storm Quince – 3 gallon container

With large, vibrant, orange flowers on display in the early spring, the Double Take™ Orange Storm brings a lot of beauty to any garden. This striking shrub is heat and drought tolerant and does not produce thorns or berries. For the best blooms, plant in full sun. This quince should best be pruned after flowering to maintain its mounding 4′ tall and 4′ wide shape. Deer resistant as well, this plant is a lovely addition to your yard in a mass planting, mixed border or container.

Joseph’s take: These Quince generally bloom very early around the same time as the Forsythia.  I’m always excited when I see blooms as I know spring is just around the corner!  Sometimes, if your eye is a bit creative, the Double take Quince blooms can look like Camellia blooms.  In general, the plant is extremely low maintenance.
