Camellia japonica 'Christmas Beauty'


Christmas Beauty Camellia, known as the rose of winter, has velvet red to coral blooms that are semi-double with golden yellow stamens. This Christmas bloomer reaches a mature height of 10 to 12 feet and a mature width of 5 to 6 feet.


Be sure to use a well drained soil medium when planting any Camellia as they prefer less watering than you might think. In NC our soil is clay so we prefer to use pine bark soil conditioner when planting Camellia, Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, and Azalea.
