Blue Cascade Distylium – 3 gallon container

The Blue Cascade Distylium adds beautiful bluish-green leaves to your landscape.   For the winter seasonal interest, the Blue Cascade™ displays small reddish-maroon flowers that last for several weeks. An ideal shrub for borders along a path, as hedges or, in a beautiful container to show off the blue-green foliage.

Joseph’s take: The Distylium family of shrubs are relatively new to the market. They have become go to foundation plantings used to replace several problematic shrubs. When I’m talking to my customers, I tell them Distylium can handle shade, sun, dry, wet, good and bad soil. Blue Cascade is great as a four foot hedge along fences and as foundation plantings in the front of a house. I especially planting something very red or very yellow in front of these, examples include Spirea         Candy Corn or Crimson Fire Loropetalum.
