Hydrangea paniculata 'SMNHPRZEP' USPP 26,956; CBR 5721

The Zinfin Doll is much akin to a blushing porcelain fairy-tale doll, with flowers first blooming white before gradually adding a darkening blush-pink to almost red as they age, moving up from the base of the flower head. A lasting mop head flower, these delicate blushing looks should not be confused for their constitution--hardy zones 3 through 8, they are another installment of the hearty hydrangeas that Proven Winners has been prolifically producing!

Joseph's Take

Joseph's Take

For a very long time hydrangeas have been one of my personal favorite plants. I love the leaf texture and the flowers of course. Most people dont know, but hydrangeas usually have amazing fall leaf color and texture either yellow or red before falling off for the winter. During the growing season they love to be watered, so don't hesitate to put on your flip flops on a hot day and give the hydrangea a drink. This fall, I will try to get some photos of their super cool leaves.
