Pieris japonica 'Valley Valentine'

This evergreen shrub matures to be around 4 ft by 4 ft, which makes it yet another dwarf cultivar that we offer of the species Pieris japonica. In the spring, the leave emerge a more reddish color before maturing to their stately green. Awarded the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Golden Merit (based/awarded off of how well they have grown for our fellow humans across the ocean) these garden standouts have a gorgeous display of maroon-red with their chain-like racemes of downward facing, bell-like flowers. The nursery pictures we added can’t say it all, so give these guys an image search to see their mature beauty!
