Favoring the hotter climates of the south in zones 6 through 9, the Spirit Viburnum is a smaller growing variety reaching a mature height of around 4 feet with a mounding, hedge habit making it suitable for using as a foundation plantings or in a mass planting in raised beds as a screening hedge. In late winter to early spring, distinct pink buds appear at the ends of its branches which open to lovely white star-shaped flowers. This low maintenance shrub retains its evergreen color throughout the year with new growth emerging dark red later transitioning to dark green as the seasons progress. Holding a strong multi-seasonal interest, you can feature this versatile shrub virtually anywhere in your landscape. Adaptable to sunny or shady areas, the Spirit Viburnum will become an easy favorite in your garden.
