Rhododendron 'Rimini'

Sporting dense and plentiful pale golden flowers with light pink edges, Rimini Rhododendron adds plenty of excitement to any garden or landscape. Featuring a hardy and robust evergreen nature capable of thriving in zones 5 through 8, it grows in a mound-like, hedging habit maturing to 3 feet high and 3 feet wide. Blooming during the late spring-early summer, its dense habit filled with oval shaped evergreen leaves present a lovely contrast and unique texture against any surrounding companion plants. Favoring shade, the Rimini Rhododendron grows best and can be appreciated the most in well drained soils.

Be sure to use a well drained soil medium when planting Rhododendron as they prefer less watering than you might think. In clay soil we prefer planting with pine bark soil conditioner for Camellia, Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel,  Azalea.

Be sure to use a well drained soil medium when planting any Rhododendron as they prefer fall planting with less watering than you might think. In NC our soil is clay so we prefer to use pine bark soil conditioner when planting Camellia, Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, and Azalea.
