Soft, brightly colored blooms form in trusses in the late spring and adorn the tips of this hedging shrub. Its wide branches become enveloped in a bright green blanket of heart- shaped leaves creating a wonderful contrast against its lavender-blue blooms. Best grown in full sun throughout zones 3 through 7, President Grevy Lilac is tried and true since its initial introduction in 1886. Undisturbed it can reach a mature height of 10 feet and 8 feet wide.
