Camellia sasanqua 'Mine No Yuki'


Mine-No-Yuki Camellia, or White Doves Camilla, produces large frilled white blooms starting in fall continuing into December. Easy care plant that grows to 6 feet tall and 8 feet wide. Mine No Yuki can grow in sun or shade.

Mine No Yuki grows out as much as up, it's very similar to Shishigashira. These types of camellia look great as a woodland groundcover onder oak trees or as a backdrop amongst a group of large boulders.

Be sure to use a well drained soil medium when planting any Camellia as they prefer fall planting with less watering than you might think. In NC our soil is clay so we prefer to use pine bark soil conditioner when planting Camellia, Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, and Azalea.
