Buxus Microphylla 'Green Beauty' Boxwood

The Green Beauty Boxwood proudly displays its beautiful lush green foliage in warm weather, while adding a touch of bronzing in the cold. Boxwood is notably known for topiary and trimmed hedges, the Green Beauty is an excellent candidate for both. This evergreen reaches a mature height of 5 feet and a width of 7 feet and serves a number of purposes among landscapes being its more heat and drought tolerant than other English varieties.

Joseph's Take

Joseph's Take

Since Green Beauty ends up a larger than some of the other Boxwoods, I would recommend planting this one in a spot that it can have room to spread out a bit. Also, Green Beauty gets bigger than most so can be used to create cool shapes through trimming.
