 Taxus x media 'Everlow'

Dense, low growing, and wide spreading to put simply, the Everlow yew is quite suitable for many landscaping applications including but not limited to: specimen, dwarf hedge or foundation planting, etc. Reaching mature heights of around 2 ft and spreading about 5 ft in width, it is proven to grow without issue in zones 4-8. This non-flowering cultivar from the Taxus x media family requires little maintenance to control its wide spreading dense branches and if necessary, takes well to pruning. Its dark green effervescent evergreen foliage which is celebrated year round appears light green in the spring like fountains of new growth. What is neat about yews in general is its medicinal properties. In Native American culture, the Pacific Yew held great significance to the Quinault and Bella Coola tribes for lung medicine and to soothe stomach pains. Although we don't recommend using the Everlow Yew for these purposes, we do recommend its use in your landscaping endeavors as foundation hedges which will bring lasting impact to your home’s atmosphere.

Everlow will begin shipping on February 10, 2022.
