Camellia X  'Buttermint'

Camellia Buttermint has numerous large, semi double, pale yellow flowers winter through spring; complemented by its year round lustrous, glossy, deep-green foliage. In peak bloom, the abundance of buds and flowers almost hide its foliage. in 2024 we are happy to add Buttermint to our yellow blooming varieties which include Jury's Yellow and Lemon Glow. Buttermint Camellia grows quicker than Lemon Glow and only gets 6 feet tall at maturity. Our 5 gallon Buttermint ships as a much larger plant than our 3 gallon Lemon Glow. Its a must addition to your camellia collection.

Be sure to use a well drained soil medium when planting any Camellia as they prefer less watering than you might think. In NC our soil is clay so we prefer to use pine bark soil conditioner when planting Camellia, Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel, and Azalea.

Buttermint will begin shipping on February 15, 2024.
